Well, does it? Because I have to say it's getting a bit dull with the forums having not really changed much since 2011 or so, and Nintendo 3DS Daily is being redesigned soon.

So what do you think? Do the forums here need a new style?
 
Yes, there could be a new site banner with the option to choose what color we would like to make the forums with the "CHANGE THEME" button below.
 
Yeah, I think so. I've also gotten pretty tired of the same thing since 2011, a change in style could be just what the forum needs to raise interest again.

Hmm... I can't say I'm overly fond of the red and black on white. While it's easy to read, it's visually jarring, and to me, looks a little tacky. A lot of websites are going with various shades of creams, greys, and blacks put together, which I think looks much sleeker. Just my opinion though.
 
I haven't been here too long so I don't think my vote counts, but I'm all for change.

I think thst the forum could use a new paint job. As for colour schemes I agree with Brunn. Earth tones being more neutral colours, are more aesthetically pleasing than black red and white. Or change the red to a lighter shade of blue. That I could also see as being do-able. :) just my opinion.
