Does video games affect aggression levels?

I feel games like First Person Shooters, and fighting games may cause some people to have more aggressive thoughts, but not many people will be aggressive from aggressive thoughts from gaming unless the person is not mature enough to understand the consequence of being violent by copying a shooting and fighting game like a very young kid, or the person has a violent mental disorder which cause them to act violently after playing a violent video game.

Does car crashing racing video games make drivers to crash other's vehicles on the road because they play violent car racing games?

I think the controls are a bit different and the price to pay is too.

It is possible that some people who play racing games are more likely to try dangerous driving behavior on public roads. But, a lot of the car crashes from drivers who try more dangerous video game car maneuvers in real life are accidental unless a car game inspire a crazy person with violent thoughts to crash their car to commit a crime like assault with a car.

I'm not sure that can be attributed to their playing of car racing video games. A sane driver knows that he can die in real life and not in video games.

I agree a sane driver will less likely drive more aggressively after gaming because the fear of causing injury, death, and property damage from car crashes, or risk getting arrested for speeding.

There maybe some less mature drivers who may drive more aggressively right after playing many hours to days of arcade racing games like Grand Theft Auto where the driving is more exciting, and may influence less mature drivers to drive more aggressively if they think their driving skills are better after playing many hours of car games where they won't crash from speeding.

GTA is actually one game that's capable of doing anything to the gamer. It's got a high impact on kids, so I understand the point you're trying to make.
