I haven't been watching anime all that much
Well, I don't have the time and with various stuff going on with my life, I couldn't make time either

You finally learned how to touch grass?

What’s it like? I’m curious.
Errrm.....>>
I do plan to get back to anime though... It will help me in taking my mind off of things and I plan to spend more time on forums as well. I have been doing that for a week already ^^

Time constrains can be an issue, best thing you can do is find a few series you really want to watch and try and set some time for them.

Find something to make you happy. I did watch an episode of Kamen Rider recently. It's fun and it's plot and delivery are like anime but it's live action.

was it Kamen Rider Black Sun?

sometimes I feel the same way too, but I do my best to take some time... a small 30min won't hurt, then back to life again... happens too much to me this year so far. . . haha

Well if it's just 30 minutes now and then, it's not that hard to make time for anime ^^
I think I am going to start watching anime for 30 minutes or so every other day

Tbh, I feel like binge watching causes people to burn out quicker. That and I question what people actually do at home to let them binge watch on a regular basis.
-_-"
Well, if I do take a break from an anime, these days .. There is a high possibility that I am gonna forget all about it... So...I prefer binge watching the anime instead

I don’t see how not binging is going to make you forget it, because won’t you forget the next time you continue the binge?
If I were to say, I usually have some sort of compulsion to start from the beginning, if I were to take a break from a series
. For over a month or so.... Would it sound weird? -.-"

There are good ones, but I swear most seasons are just full of bloat shows.
That’s also been a thing for long time.

The reason why people romanticize past media, is because we’re looking at it from a curated lens. The good stuff is remembered and all the bloat is forgotten. It just looks like the past was only filled with good stuff.

I’m seeing people romanticize the pre-isekai or Crunchyroll days of anime, but you can go on MAL and pull up a random season from like 2008 and realize that you won’t recognize most of that season. Then there’s the 90’s where us westerners got the definition of curated where we primarily got the popular shows. Even then there’s forgotten anime that we got in the 90’s.

I’m a big music nerd and playlists or radio (either FM or XM) are curated for the songs that stood the test of time, but you can pull up a Billboard chart from a random past year and either forgot a large portion of that list or never heard of them.
