I need to learn how to speak Spanish because that would be so useful. I also need to get fluent in Tagalog (Filipino) my family's native tongue.

I want to learn Japanese so I can play all those Japanese Rpgs that never got translated lol But alas the language is just too difficult.

I wouldn’t call learning it difficult, it’s just tedious. A lot of people mix the two up.

A lot of people claim it’s hard because they’re usually learning it for “frivolous” reasons, and when it’s not as quick of a process as they expect, they go “oh it’s too hard”.

I am currently using Duolingo to learn Spanish. Of course, it's not enough but I think it's useful to learn some of the basics before moving on to something a bit more advanced

I like the idea of learning a foreign language but it has to stick first and I need to be involved in it to do better and I just don't. Anyways I am trying to learn coding languages and that part is interesting and could be useful for me a lot because of my interests.

Duolingo is a fantastic learning tool, there's really no reason not to learn another language when free resources like these exist!

@cm2 hope it's not also for PLOT Tifla Games lol and anime if they have one. I also want to learn Japanese.
lmao good thing many fanmade Tifa PLOT stuff are in english.

They say that immersion is the best way to learn a new language. Surround yourself with people who speak the language and it will force you to practice.

I love learning languages. I'm an introvert so I honestly do better with written words than oral. Learning languages as well as the various cultures has always been fascinating to me. I took Spanish in High School & could get by conversationally. I taught myself Sign Language years ago. I dabbled in Japanese, Mandarin, & Korean.

Do you feel its hard to learn Japanese?

I think I might forget English pronunciation while learning french , both languages have such a drastic pronunciation difference ^^;

I've always wanted to learn a foreign language but I think I'm way past the point where I'd have the time and energy to actually learn anything though which is a shame because it's a useful skill to have.
