This looks like a fun classic Final Fantasy game to play on PC and mobile.
I was hoping this was going to be announcement about redoing these the same way as DQ 3, but oh well. Plus these will not be sold in a collection.
"December 18 is the 35th Anniversary of Final Fantasy, and we have some exciting news to celebrate: the acclaimed Final Fantasy pixel remaster series is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch," says the Square Enix website. "Final Fantasy I - VI will launch digitally for these platforms in Spring 2023. The games can be purchased individually or together as a bundle."
Console game dropping soon!
It's good they are doing this but Final Fantasy still has a vast library on so many systems and it's the type you'd see played on retro consoles more. Even with pirates.
It’s getting mostly remediated now. Steam has all of them now, and now the Switch will have the first 12 (excluding 11, but… MMO), and now it’s just missing the 13 trilogy and 15, then 16. 14’s also an MMO, so I doubt many people will be missing that on the Switch.
Been watching some ROM hacks on youtube that seem like fun for anyone looking for an OG experience.

How when they're working on FF16? I've only heard super pessimistic timelines like 2027.
They have clearly been working on both at the same time along with Kingdom hearts 4. Now with FF 16 finished up, either the full throttle is put towards FF 7 remake part 2 or KH 4. Or maybe FF 17.
