The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster is "coming soon" to both mobile and PC. Unfortunately, no solid release date was given, but hopefully more information will come to light soon.

"December 18 is the 35th Anniversary of Final Fantasy, and we have some exciting news to celebrate: the acclaimed Final Fantasy pixel remaster series is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch," says the Square Enix website. "Final Fantasy I - VI will launch digitally for these platforms in Spring 2023. The games can be purchased individually or together as a bundle."
 
It's good they are doing this but Final Fantasy still has a vast library on so many systems and it's the type you'd see played on retro consoles more. Even with pirates.

It’s getting mostly remediated now. Steam has all of them now, and now the Switch will have the first 12 (excluding 11, but… MMO), and now it’s just missing the 13 trilogy and 15, then 16. 14’s also an MMO, so I doubt many people will be missing that on the Switch.

They have clearly been working on both at the same time along with Kingdom hearts 4. Now with FF 16 finished up, either the full throttle is put towards FF 7 remake part 2 or KH 4. Or maybe FF 17.
 
Tifa PLOT II must be the TOP Priority!
