I've been wondering about this topic for a while because I only know a few. I think games that are realistically well-made are interesting to play... because not only you play the game but you learn something from it.
Here are the games that I know:
1. Outlast 2 - they were inspired with Jonestown Massacre story so they incorporated the vibe and the cult behind it.
2. 1979 Revolution: Black Friday - You played as a photographer and you have to take shots of the events (those events were real life like it totally happened).
3. Valiant Hearts: The Great War - they got the same atmosphere and kinda with the story about WWI.
4.Assassin’s Creed III - this game tackles the historical events and people so that makes the game a good one to play! especially for historic geeks like me.
5. L.A. Noire - they recreated the LA actual cities before.
