I know I had a bunch of games for the Nintendo GameCube and the Wii. I don't think I had quite as many games for the Wii U. I hope to have more games for the Switch but that depends on what games they come out with for the Switch.
I know I ended up not getting as many for my Gamecube, even though at the start I felt like there was a ton I wanted to play. My Gamecube mostly ended up becoming a gameboy player.
Since I didn't have much of my own money, or interest in singleplayer games, before I got my PS4... my other consoles had only a few games (one or two singleplayer titles and then mainly FIFA and COD every year). This generation I have owned hundreds of games on my PS4.
