Is it allowed to use a refferal link on our signature?

I think the basic rule that applies everywhere is that as long as it's nothing illegal and doesn't harm somebody's computer, it should be OK.
For this reason, my advise is not to use short URLs, I've seen lots of victims made by this back when MSN and Skype were popular.

I agree the easiest way nowadays to spread viruses is on short URLs.
