I've just come back from my first set of "exams" if you can call them back. It was more just submitting a ton of coursework. Pretty cool stuff though. We had to model a 3d room environment so I made like a little recording studio with a piano and a mic stand. We also had to animate a 3D model performing an action we might see in a video game. My other modules I had to write some code for a simple virtual pet program and in the final one I had to program an element from Street Fighter 2 and then write a report on how it influenced the games industry and then discuss my code at length. Was a lot of work but so much fun I might get a snapshot of my rendered room up on the site at some point if people want to see it
Oh man it was awesome. Programming elements from games after only 14 weeks at University was an awesome feeling. Felt like I had learned so much more than in school
Pretty good. Posting on this forum instead of cleaning up my code in the programming labs Wednesday's a long day for me. Got to go do ActionScript 3 programming next... so...much...code
