If it isn't the battery then it's most likely the battery cables. my parents had trouble like that a few months ago.

I really hate it when my GBA's battery gets empty... I guess it had some kind of charger option but I don't own that. Batteries are expensive if you need to buy them too much.

Tip: lithium batteries last longer, and I don't think they're much more expensive.

Yeah, I had to send it to dell to get it repaired. Lucky its still under warranty. And now it's been 16 days and I still haven't got it back.
