Just saw it today, really amazing movie! A little slow to start, but once it gets going it won't stop till you feel some kind of emotion.

Godzilla: Minus-One looks like a nice monster movie. I like how realistic Godzilla looks in this trailer.

Thanks for your review of Godzilla: Minus-One.

I really want to see it. I've always been a huge Godzilla fan and I am loving the current movies. The Legendary movies are starting to push some limited that I do not prefer, so it is nice seeing an alternative.

How's the Kyushu J7W Shinden "Magnificent Lightning" Japanese fighter/Interceptor attack scene? well executed with internal cockpit scene?

Pretty sure this movie goes back to the series roots, nothing crazy or out there, simple godzilla vs the people.

Lol that's real? How is the propeller really on the back?

Not even releasing in my country. Can't wait to see it.

I'm sure some stream service will have it.

It is lol. It's an early canard based fighter designed to be fitted with a jet engine but they never actually got the chance to finish it. There were 2 prototypes made. After the war 1 of the prototypes got claimed and shipped by the US Intelligence to the States. So how was the scene with the fighter in the movie ?

Seems like they did it justice.

Godzilla Vs McDonalds lol

Read from CBR:

they address Godzilla's apparent hunger, with one specialist on TV observing, "He's a living organism, so that means he can get hungry." Another added, "A regular burger isn't going to cut it." It's up to the employees of McDonald's to save the day, with one worker in uniform seen standing fearless in a crowd of people running away and confidently stating, "Hello, and thank you for coming!" A panicked schoolgirl then helps guide the Kaiju creature in the right direction, shouting, "Over here, Godzilla! The Godzilla Burgers are over here!"

This is by far the best Godzilla movie release till date. Godzilla was monstrous in the movie. I've watched the movie but I'm still going to watch it again because just one time watch isn't enough.

Read from CBR:

The release of Minus One/Minus Color was done in an attempt to truly recapture the feeling of the original 1954 Godzilla movie, which was itself in black and white. This new variant of Godzilla Minus One has earned the movie an additional $2.6 million dollars in the United States, and this officially puts the movie over the box office earnings of another Asian film. 2019's Parasite made $53.3 million at the domestic box office, whereas Godzilla Minus One has now made $55 million USD. Given the movie's modest budget of reportedly less than $15 million, it's already a success in the US alone.

The Godzilla movie is now nearing the $57.2 million USD record for the 1997 World War II-based film, Life Is Beautiful. Surpassing this would put it in the second place ranking for non-English movies, though it's still far off from the $128 million record left by the success of the wuxia film, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Though it might not come close to beating that, Godzilla Minus One will remain a major bright spot in the franchise's history.

The budget for Godzilla Minus One caused many to question the state of Hollywood blockbusters. The year 2023 saw several tentpole blockbuster movies fail to become profitable at the box office, with some of these, namely Warner Bros. Discovery's The Flash, having somewhat dubious special effects in spite of their large budgets.

They made the movie with nice CGI Special effects with so little money, wonder if Hollywood is going to outsource its movie CGI production stuff to Japan with newer movies.

True. It was reported that $15 million budget was what was used for the production of the movie, although Toho haven't officially disclosed the exact cost. Some sources says it wasn't above $10 million.
