The visual effects were absolutely great in Godzilla Minus One. The CGI used in making the movie was mind blowing.

I watched this and it had the best story of any godzilla movie that's for sure. However the way the monster looked and moved was just bad and it's obvious they were going for the old godzilla look and feel. My favorite Godzilla movie(s) is still the animated trilogy which I doubt anyone's even heard of.
