Changing this will sync the forum with the arcade finally. Or if it goes wrong make it so no one can login at all on both

if you believe its right, then yes please. This is what the addon makers said:

Your WordPress installation is on a different subdomain, so XenForo cookies are not transmitted there, hence the system can’t progress with the Single Sign-On progress. You’ll need to change your XenForo cookie domain to .gaminglatest.com

Try asking over at XF, you get more support there.

What happened? Could be I wrote that line on my phone.

the code didn't do anything, I tried something else and the site completely lost cookie capabilities. So a bit more research is needed.

True but probably best to have a test forum to test things on. Kinda like a duplicate.

looks like they just improved it under the bookmarks feature: XF 2.1 - Content bookmarks and the return of per-post share controls

Or just use the bookmark feature in the browser (that's what I do).
