Goombas for sure. I prefer them more then Koopas, they are balanced allies in Paper Mario 1-2, and hilarious when they show happy facial expressions while having an angry face.

Koopas. They are better cuz they're more capable of things in the Mario Universe.
 
goombas... always liekd them better...
 
Koopas because when your mad in Mario Kart you wanna through a shell green, red, and blue. You wouldn't through a goomba but maybe ram into one.

Koopas, they're just awesome...and really know how to sport the sunshades look. Also...they make for great comic relief

I selected both, because, well... I like both!

I think when I was little, I preferred Koopas but now I like Goombas a wee bit more but I still like both of them equally. I think Goombella is the character that really restored my faith in the Goombas.
 
Gosh...probably Koopas. Usually portrayed to have more of a personality than the Goomba.
