I actually never pre-ordered a game for myself. Though, I did pre-order Borderlands 2 for my friend.

I preordered Black Ops II last. I don't think I'll be pre-ordering COD: Ghosts. Doesn't look very "innovating" to me. The new engine does not look "new" at all. It just looks like they tweaked the engine from the last Modern Warfare. I think the Call of Duty series is slowly dying.

If you don't count buying alpha state games: I think it is Company of Heroes 2. Boy, was I disappointed when the game got out. Made a special account to follow the development forum, suddenly bankruptcy happened.

I ended up pre ordering Watch Dogs 8 hours before it came out.. I've also had The Last of Us for PS4 pre ordered and paid for for months now.

Good chance my next pre order will be Persona Q collector's edition.
