There's only so much time one has. Imagine how long it would take to play through the entire Final Fantasy series? 8 took me about 2 months to get to disc 4 where I got irreparably stuck.
You could probably do it if you spent ALL your time gaming, but that is not the kind of life anyone should lead.
it doesn't say play all the way through. just give it a shot and take enough time gaming to absorb what the games development details are. and again, no one said the games have to be good to be a requirement to be played. some are so rare and exclusive that they made history, and it would be your honor to play them. Take Wario Land i.e. That is said the only game to be any good for Virtual Boy. Then Mario Clash, it was terrible, therefore it became rare, and there's the fact that it's Mario we're talking about. Perfect! You wouldn't wanna miss your chance to play that!
@LS:
I had a VB and Wario Land rocked, Galaxy Pinball rocked, and so did Mario Tennis. Oddly enough those are the only three of the 11 games made for it that I owned and James Rolfe - a.k.a. the Angry Video Game Nerd - said those were the only three good games LOL I got lucky.
@Blue:
And no, I SHOULDN'T lead that life, but I do. But then again, should a human being REALLY toil for another person for their entire life? You "work" for a stranger doing as you are told. Do you think humans exist for that reason? it's like payed slavery. Granted, I miss working as it made me feel more as though I had a purpose, but in all actuality, you are still slaving away under a stranger no matter how you look at it. and what for? A piece of colored paper or shaped metal that bares no purpose other than to be used as a means for trading? When you stop to think about how we humans operate... it really makes very little sense LOL
agreed completely. although i never understand why people say gaming their entire life or something else utterly pointless makes you feel like you don't have a purpose in life. Video Games have always been part of my life and i really enjoy them. I never realized that until now. games have always been there for me. Video games are my life now.
Trust me with this one LMAO i have had so many dreams and goals. Making a cartoon, being a ninja, playing national in every sport ever and even creating my own sport, wanting to be a rapper, wanting to create video games, exploring the world to study snakes and reptiles, i can't think of any more. But man i never knew what my dream was until now, maybe gaming isn't my purpose, but i am damn making sure it will stay my purpose. I am tired of choosing careers and goals. I am lazy and i really dont feel up to doing that stuff ^^^ so this is best.
I used to feel the same way. After 12 years of doing nothing but playing video games you need a break once in a while, ya know? I always said though: women may come and go, but at the end of the day my consoles will always be there for me."
