I spent 3 hours in 3DS Max posing them and stuff................. They look identical, does it still not count...?

The game was supposed to be simple, in the fact that you just used the image I supplied, not actually remake it from scratch, heh. I will give you special consideration for your effort though, but next time (if there is a next time), maybe don't do so much work, heh. While it's appreciated, it isn't really necessary for this kind of competition.

And yes, I looked at it. I just didn't include it in the quote because I thought it'd be too huge.

Agh whatever "consideration"? I went all out because I wanted a wow from you Shy guy......Well and I wanted to spice things up a bit. If we used the same image you supplied eventually all of are submissions would look the same! I suggest we can chose to use the image supplied or draw a picture that looks the same as the supplied one (or model it). But yeah thats what I think....and all you have to say is "Heh" about my effort!...

The problem with fan work competitions is that they can be too hard. Too much time to make the masterpiece, not enough time in life to actually be able to enter...

Which is why I've got this. I ask for something fairly simple, and you all enter to try and get the best spot. Sometimes it can be humorous, other times, deadly serious. To start off with, we'll go half funny, half competitive. So many halves... *drools*

Anyhoos, on with the task!

I have a picture of Mario and Luigi. I want Luigi to look like Mario, and Mario to look like Luigi. You can be as simple or as complicated as you want.

All the submissions are supposed to be based on the same image, it's up to the person to make them stand out and different (that's part of the competition). And I said I had a picture of Mario and Luigi, and that I wanted the two to swap. This really isn't intended to be a tough competition in which you spend a million years working on it, it's really intended to take no less than 30 minutes.

As for entry acceptances, I'll probably wrap it up soon, like in a day or two.

Basing an image on an image isn't actually using the image though. This really isn't an amazing competition, it's mostly for fun.

I don't expect you to make more model images either, because they aren't the focus of this game. But I certainly don't dislike them, they just don't meet competition criteria and I can't judge them against the others fairly. It didn't follow the rules (which I should make more clear), and as a result, couldn't be counted. Rules are rules, gotta be fair and all.

Also, I'll end this section of the competition by this weekend, for anybody else who wants to join in.

Ok......I was getting a tad off the rules...(disobeying the rules) Judging them against others is unfair because it's not following the rules at all.....I really overlooked the first post you made. And the rules were stated just fine, I was just being narrow minded about the whole thing.
