I dont really know how to begin this.
Copper, my 14 year old pitbull has been suffering from arthritis and suspected kidney problems for a while now.
I've started to wake up earlier and earlier (4 AM, 5 AM) in hopes of helping him not have accidents. It's going to take its toll on me, and it seems as if he's at the end.
Next week, unless plans change, he will no longer be with us. I tried to deny it, but it's too late.
I wish I could say that I'm ready, but I'm not. I wish I had better choices, but I'm at the endpoint.
In the end, he is my brother, and I'm scared what my life is going to be like without him.

It absolutely sucks losing a pet, they're family. It's a hard decision, you don't want your buddy to leave but you don't want him to suffer either. RIP Copper, you're in my thoughts and prayers MisterBobbyPin. Think of all the happy times you've had together.
