Name for the next XBox?

Do you guys have any news about what the next XBox is going to be called? Do you think it will be the XBox 2 or the XBox 10? You can never know with Microsoft nowadays... They skip numbers and turn back to previous numbers... They're so unpredictable...

Well, they are already dropping the Windows Phone name and replacing the name of their mobile OS with Windows 10. Yes, both the mobile and the desktop operating systems will be called Windows 10. Microsoft's intention is to make a universal operating system that works on all the devices (smartphones, computers, consoles), so if the next console gets launched in the next couple of years, it might be named Xbox 10... But you can never be sure when it comes to Microsoft...

There needs to be a Xbox one slim before they release a next gen console. A slim version that is badly needed.

Well the "one" part of the name was less to be apart of a numbered console and more of a way to say it is an all-in-one entertainment device type thing. I think your analysis on Xbox 10 could be correct if they continue moving in that direction, but for the most part it seems that the One and the 10 OS are aligned, so perhaps it will be named after the next OS? Its hard to say. I don't think anyone expected them to go where they went this time.

However would live still be around as xbox live or they going to change that around like xbox dead. Aren't about the name anyway it's the hardware they put into it and the options for us to consider like upgrade to 5TB HDD which aren't going to happen and yet again would consider having a SSD in a xbox 10 or me or what ever the name.

Plus probably thinking ahead regarding the disc version. Like steam or origin you go online and download games and install it same with movies and that's the future ahead for most things. Hope its fast. And heard about that all consoles will connect to each other so that players can play each other that uses different consoles. So someone on xbox one playing GTA Six with another player on Xbox 10 or xbox fatty.
 
I have no idea, but I do think it's way too early to be thinking of a name for the next one since the current one hasn't even been out for 3 years.
 
My guess is Project Scorpio will be called Xbox 1.80, or more seriously something that references 4K, but Microsoft has been very unpredictable in there final names. Well at least they never settled for naming their console Wii.
 
I know, right? Imagine all the stress that comes along with picking a name for a popular console as the Xbox is... you really need to get into people's minds I guess, trying to see what can make them feel attracted to it... I really can't think of a proper name without sounding extremely cheesy right now, lol. But I think that you get my point. :p:p
 
Well, if you think about it, it doesn't really make any sense.
It want Xbox>Xbox 360>Xbox One. Really a confusing naming sense. How are people supposed to know if you're talking about the first Xbox, or Xbox One? I really thought that the current gen one would be Xbox 720. Maybe they'll go back to that just to screw with everyone. At least Playstation is consistent.
