Hey community folk. I know that I haven't posted a question in about 5 days, haha. I haven't been in a good mood to think of them lately, so, this one might suck too..
Todays's Question of the Day is...
What do you think of the area you live in?
Personally, I hate my area. I've been living in it for seven years to see my street get worn down. Also, alot of bad things happen in my area. It's realy bad, actually. You could get killed, robbed or perved on, regardless of your age and gender, that's the messed up thing. The only thing I like about my street is, that it's home and that's kind of a sad excuse, hah. What about you guys?

meh, mine is half-ass. I live in the country, so i can quad on the gravel roads and not get in crap from the cops.

but the real craps is that you can't really hang out with your friends unless it's a 5 minute ride away.

I'll describe the area I live in.
It's definitaly rural... I'd . The nearest town is about 1-2 miles away. It's 99% peaceful. The 1% being the odd fox that screams some nights, or maybe a couple of cats fighting... at night, some cars going past. To be really honest, in my entire er... 14-15 years of living here, I've pretty much NEVER heard any drunken arguments. There has never been a single murder here as long as I've been here. Of course people have died, but that's just natural. In short, it's a rather boring ordinary place. Nothing awesome... but it's not like "Beware of the village murderer".
Ah heck, here's a Wikipedia article on my village:

Nice, very nice~
Very green, rainy when I want it to be, plus having a view of the ocean no matter where you are (exaggeration, IDC) is nice.

It's ok in a way. It's on about 0.3 miles from the actual town that has nothing in it so shopping here sucks so I have to go out of my way to buy video games. Not to mention the random weather patterns, but that's normal in this state. >_< All in all it sucks, but it's not all bad I guess.

Large, flat, and inconsistent (Weather).
Weather could be sunny and warm, then within five seconds, there's a freakin' downpour. NO EXAGGERATION.
Due to the flatness, there's never any opportunities to climb new things.
But it's nice and quiet, and sometimes the weather decides to not be a huge bitch. (BLUH BLUH)

Thats considered rural???

I live in the south (of 'merica), land of glorious capitalism and racism! Its okay I guess, everyone looks the same and acts the same ect ect ect...

There are a crap load of department stores every mile or two. Its weird because they're all basically identical to each-other.

The weathers nice though, even if the only two seasons are summer and fall.

No one plays video games... ;-;

I live in New England, specifically, Massachusetts. I am north of Boston, nearing the border of New Hampshire. I love the area that I live in, I feel that I see the four seasons in such an intensity that is not seen in other parts of the world. Summer is hot but not too sweltering and I am close to the beach and loads of lakes/ponds for swimming, Fall has brilliant foliage with photosynthesis taking place--walks in the state forests are breathtakingly beautiful, Winter is snowy--this winter we got a TON of snow which made for great skiing and snowmobiling, and Spring is really a time of awakening around here, loads of people who have been sick of the snow begin to realize that warm weather is coming and everyone gets in good spirits, not to mention, the crocuses begin to sprout. :]

I live in a marshland area with loads of forests around the houses, there are lots of tall grass (no Pokemon though, sigh) and forest critters (yipping foxes, little cotton-tail bunnies, bountiful of singing birds, and so on). Another reason I love the area I live in is because I am close but also far away from the city. I love the country and love the fact that I am able to shoot away to New Hampshire and enjoy the quads, snowmobiles and target shooting without much trouble since these are things you can't do in the city.
