Hey everyone, I'm in the market for a new laptop and I'm having a hard time deciding on one. There are so many choices out there. Would you guys help me out?

I'm looking at gaming laptops. I am going to use the laptop for primarily video editing so the more powerful the better (also will connect to 2 additional monitors when at my desk), multimedia, casual gaming COD Black Ops 3/GTA i play 2-3 times a week 1-2 hours a session, and general use/browsing.

I travel a lot and would like to have the following in a laptop:

- Decent battery life on normal use (important)

- Good wifi connectivity (important)

- Minimum 15inch (important)

- preferably dvd player

- I don't care much about the weight but thinner the better.

- Preferably an SSD

- No 720p

I would like to keep the cost to around $800-$1000. Absolute max would be $1200.

I use my laptop a lot so it has to be durable as far as the hardware. Plastic casing is no problem. It has to be able to last 2-3 years of heavy use.

I've been looking at the following:

Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK 15.6-Inch

ASUS X751LX-DB71 17.3-Inch

Lenovo Ideapad Y700 15.6-Inch

ASUS ROG GL552VW-DH71

What do you think, am i looking at the right ones, any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.
