The Street Fighter video game franchise is about to deliver a sonic boom in the live-action world as new movie and TV adaptations of the action-packed series are in development.

Legendary Entertainment has secured the film and TV rights for Street Fighter, with the studio also working with the video game's creator, Capcom, on future projects. Legendary is the same studio that released the 2021 kaiju film Godzilla vs. Kong.
