I am going to be 24 years old this June and I am playing 3DS. So from his point of view, I don't have any self respect, LOL !!!

Wow. I may not like the 3DS, but I don't agree with that at all. If anything motion would be more childish than 3D. Not that it's a bad thing. I love motion gaming. I'm just saying.

I really hate Sony and this isn't helping. They're just jealous because they can't think of anything original.

Wow ........... Without Nintendo Sony wouldn't be where it was now.

IMO Sony actually sucks compared to Microsoft and Nintendo. But that's just my opinion.

And doing this isn't helping there fanbase.

PS 1 is still one of my fav consoles. I don't really hate Sony but the company image can be ruined if the person at the top is behaving like this clown.

We have to remember when he commented on Wii motion control and the next few years, he proudly introduced something similar.

Now he mentioned 3DS is sucks and worse because there is no hard drive in it and it reduced its graphic / resolutions by half, but maybe in another few more years, he will proudly introduced NGP 3D/ PSP 3D to all of us.

How immature, it doesn't take much investigation to realize Sony is jealous of other competitors success.

It is immature of him to say those stuff in public. I don't care if he wanted to say it to himself or his family, but once he said it to the public, he will only get bashed by many people for his immature behaviour. The company will be affected by his behaviour as well.

As a CEO of a company, your image is equals to company image and whatever words came out of the CEO or top management people, it represents what the company wanted to say to public no matter if it is true or not. That's what many people will believe.

We all know the sales of PSP < NDS and PS 3 < Wii, it just shows to the world how good Nintendo is and why Sony is jealous.

Thanks a bunch Sony. All these years of telling people not to use games consoles and TVs as replacements for parenting and assuring people that the companies that make them don't intend them to used as such, and now you not only insult Nintendo and Microsoft, but also imply video games are being used as replacements for good parenting and take us all back to step one. Idiot.

Let me dissect this a bit:

[Microsoft and Nintendo] are starting to run out of steam now in terms of continuing to be relevant in 2011 and beyond.

No. You're still in last place, I guess you ran out of steam first.

I mean, you’ve gotta be kidding me. Why would I buy a gaming system without a hard drive in it?

Both the 360 and Wii have a hard drive in them. And I don't know... for GAMES?

How does this thing scale?

How did the NES/SNES/Nintendo 64/Gamecube/Playstation 1/Playstation 2/Genesis/Master System/Dreamcast scale? Or nearly every portable console ever made? Oh yeah, they didn't need a hard drive.

Motion gaming is cute, but if I can only wave my arms six inches, how does this really feel like I’m doing true accurate motion gaming?

What are you on about? Heck, isn't this insulting yourself? The Move works nearly the same way as the Wii remote. This brain dead statement would make a tad more sense coming from Microsoft with Kinect, but even then...

Our view of the ‘Game Boy experience’ is that it’s a great babysitting tool, (but) no self-respecting 20-something is going to be sitting on an airplane with one of those. He’s too old for that.

No? Look down the member list here. Look at how many people are between 20 and 30 years old. That's a lot of people, including many active, regular members. Heck, I'm 20 something, are you saying I'm not self respecting? Or that I wouldn't use a Game Boy/DS/3DS on an airplane? And no, it's not a great babysitting tool, unless you're a pretty lazy babysitter or happen to bring at least two 3DS consoles around with you on a regular basis.

What an idiot.

Corporate hoohah, yada yada. Just fighting words to stir the pot with. Many of us who are at that age range including myself don't give a darn about labels. All I know is that I spent my hard earned cash for some good ol' Nintendo handheld fun and that's what I'm getting, just plain fun. Whether it be 3DS, NGP, etc, if I'm enjoying the entertainment, then that's all that matters.

He's an ass-clown. He's the same guy who said that the Wii was a "lollipop". He later went on to announce PlayStation Move. And the stupid "20-year old" line? What the hell? Both the 3DS and NGP are portable game systems. What's the damn difference that makes the 3DS a "kid" device and the NGP a "mature gamer" device? Certainly not the games... shooting people in the head doesn't make a game mature, you idiot(s).

The 3DS is going to outsell the NGP, just like the DS outsold the PSP. Give it up, Jackass Trenton.

I think what he was trying to say is that Nintendo handheld games are somewhat for kids and not like his so called "PSP" or "PS 3" that has better graphic. Indeed if we look at Nintendo games and compared with Sony games, there are huge different on graphic (Used to be this), but most of the gamers doesn't really care about the graphic, they care more about the gameplay. What's the point of having a good graphic but worse gameplay or storyline...

If we take a look at the worldwide sales PSP has more than 67m and DS has more than 144m... Nintendo games are drawing people from different ages such as kids, teenagers, 20-30 years old and even more than 30 years old.

Not to badmouth Sony, but the only people in my family that plays PSP are my cousins (around 4-5 of them) who are between 5-8 years old and one of my friend that owned an electronic shop....

Oh Sony, you big baby.... they are like the kid in school that spend all their money on the latest trendy stuff to impress everybody and then a little Emo kid STARTS a trend (again and again and again...) and becomes mr. popular, so all they can think of doing is pushing the Emo on the playground like a brainless bully....

There's no point in me reading the whole blog. Just the title of it, over and over again.

I'd rather play my 3ds than play a system whose motion sensing controller looks like a giant black dong.

But that's just me, I suppose. <_<

You'd think if a company had confidence in their own product they wouldn't need to talk badly about other companies by making insulting comments that are obviously not factual.
