Oh God. Look at about two minutes in, with all the 3DS references and such. Good move for Nintendo? Maybe sales wise. Not so much as far as for us forum goers, considering what kind of 3DS fans this music video might bring...

But yes, what do you think about this recent act of product placement from Nintendo?

SMF, I'll have you know that I bought my 3DS ONLY, and I mean ONLY because Justin Bieber's voice was in one of the trailers. GOD.

I don't even wan't to think about all Bieber fans this is gonna make go crazy, well Nintendo made a pretty good move for them anyway considering all the crazed Bieber fans out there probably really want a 3DS right now, but for us, ya might not be the best thing.
 
I'm pretty sure he didn't grab just one.... Meh, big fat hairy deal if you ask me. Probably make other people go crazy over it though. I wonder if he was shown Super Mario 3D Land, or Mario Kart 7, or something? *Shifty eyes*
 
When I said that the 3DS would fail I was kidding, but after seeing this... Well there's more Beeper haters than fans so even if the fans did get a 3DS it wouldn't help much because Beeper haters would most likely not buy it because it's associated with him.
 
I'm going to be positive and say that this product placement opportunity is only a good thing. It will remind folks of the 3DS and will attract more users, that will attract more developers to make more amazing games. If you despise Justin Bieber then by all means continue to do so, just ignore the ad and carry on. If you like Justin Bieber and the 3DS then good on you. If you despise both Justin Bieber and 3DS, then I'm generally confused as to why you are here. Heh.

Product placements are dodgy and retarded, as well as plain ol' embarrassing. This reminds of that crap you see in Days of our Times nowadays. It's incredibly obvious, and oh-so painful to watch, heh. Though I never really think that they work to be honest, but apparently they do, so there you go.

Just so long as all the shops near me sell out of 3DS consoles, I'm fine with this.
 
I want to throw this out there by saying I really don't understand what's up with all the dramatic no reactions here. It's really not that bigadeal anyway...
 
It is good advertising, But SURELY they could have found a singer with TRUE talent to market the 3DS. No offense Ninty, but this video is kind of embarassing.
 
As long as I don't see any bilboards with Justin's face on them with him holding a 3DS, I'll be fine. Otherwise, they have rendered the 3DS tainted with Justin. *Shudders*

wut. Wut. just... why? Sure it must help sales, but still. Be right back, I'm going to jet-seal my 3ds, wash it with the power to shun horrible singers, block the 3DS's knowledge of any trailers/commericals that have Justin or Beiber in it, un-seal it, and continue playing.
