OS installation for the first time

I feel 2GB RAM maybe enough for PC which use Windows 10 32bit edition, but may not be good for Windows 10 64bit which uses more RAM.

2GB RAM on a Windows 10 32bit computer maybe enough RAM for basic tasks like Facebook, Twitter, forums, watching lower resolution videos, playing less intensive games like Minecraft, listening to music, viewing picture files, word processing, spreadsheets, and slideshow presentations.

I used a Windows 10 32bit computer with 2GB RAM, and the PC performance was good enough for using a web browser, watching online video, forums, and word processing.

Buying 4GB DDR2 will cost you 10 USD.
Believe me it will be the best 10 dollars you have ever paid

Minecraft even lags on my end with 6gb of ram and integrated graphics as foggy said Windows 10 64 bit uses more ram you gotta upgrade

I call hax, no way can a old pentium run W10 well. You must be at least using an SSD?
It's one of those situations where you have to define well, especially if you're not used to using modern hardware. It's like using a 5400 RPM hard drive, and never touched either a 7200 RPM drive or SSD.

Though I'm more shocked that these guys are running 12 year old hardware more than the ability to run Windows 10 on it.

He maybe mainly using more lightweight software like LibreOffice, Vivaldi web browser, Winamp, Windows Media player Classic, and Notepad in Windows 10, so Windows 10 still have enough free RAM and CPU resources to run Windows 10 and a lightweight program like Vivaldi web browser without freezing.

I seen some Windows 10 tablets with an Intel Atom CPU and 2GB of RAM, 32GB flash memory storage and they have a few good reviews from somr users.

Oh no no, I've tried installing W10 on old machines, it does not go well.

I think Windows 10 32bit may run better on older PCs with a slower CPU and less RAM than using the 64bit version of Windows 10 which need at least 2GB RAM, and may need a faster CPU as well.

No I use hard drive.
I have 4GB of RAM which works much better then 2GB with Windows 10 64 bit.
Of course my computer can't run the latest games but it is great for my needs like surfing the web, watching videos, using Office , etc.

I don't use lightweight software. I use the latest Microsoft Edge as my browser and Microsoft Office not some inferior replacement.
I also run Zoom on my computer without any problem.

The new Chromium Microsoft Edge does run well in my experience. I tried Edge on an older laptop with 4GB of RAM and an AMD E2-7110 1.80 GHz CPU, and Edge run at a good speed.
