Ash has been trying to be the best Pokemon master and own all the Pokemon he has ever seen but that's something that won't be happening. But one person in real life can do that and in shiny no less.

Someone has successfully collected all the shiny Pokemon out there, which of course took three long years.

Well fair enough. I guess it's impossible to know for sure. Unless there is overwhelming circumstances it's hard to prove if someone lied or not.
