PlayStation PlayStation VR Release Month and Price

It is March of the year of the Virtual Reality, so it's time for Sony to start detailing its VR project.

Sony announced it will bring out its VR device on October 2016 for $400 USD which you will get everything in the image above. However the PS camera which is required for this, will not be sold with the VR device and will cost you up to an additional $60.

If you like to preorder this, Sony has opened preorders already.

I was following Twitter as this stuff was getting announced, I'm pretty excited for VR to start taking off through this. I won't be getting this or pre-ordering just yet, but it's promising.

Seems like the cheapest possible - means it is more likely to be mass market, still don't see it myself.

Also apparently this needs the Move controller as well which is another $30.

With the $400 price it is one of the cheapest VR's announced yet it could easily pass the Oculus and HTC Vive, although the extras that need to be purchased do bring the cost up closer with those two.

Sony said they will have a bundle that will have everything a person needs, though no price given I'm sure it will boost it up to $500.
