Anyone here get Pokemon Go today? If so be careful, apparently the game app is a major battery killer even if plugged in.

I downloaded it today because I saw some friends talking about it on Facebook. I'm not a Pokemon fan at all... But the idea of walking around and collecting them, and battling seems pretty cool to me. Collected 3 so far.

Well, Miitomo was also not available for me to download.

I'll have to download an apk and install it on an Android device, but it doesn't have a data plan so I'll only be able to search with Wi-Fi.

Here's a tip: Pokemon Go uses Google Maps API, so if you download your city map offline, you will see significant less data and batter consumption when playing this game on your smartphone.
