Preferred headphones?

That's my fear with buying not really knowing what to expect comfortability-wise. I've been running outdoors more often now though and although my airpods have transparency mode I still fell like I should probably have my ears open to my surroundings for safety reason.
 
For me noise cancelling is of great value, and as such, I am using the latest Sony XM headset. It's comfortable enough to wear all day, got good bass, and sounds great in general. The noise cancelling is quite good on the newer ones as well. They're a bit pricey, but certainly a good purchase if you want to shut out your surroundings and get immersed.
 
Songs with a bit of bass or talking with someone really animated over the phone makes my ear tickle but other than I think they're perfect!
