Other Project M Ended

Bad news for the Wii mod community, long time fan project called Project M, which made the hit game Super Smash Bros Brawl play and feel more like the better version Super Smash Bros Melee, has been ended by its makers.

Full details can be found here, but the makers decided to end it for another project. The Project M has lasted for over 6 years, which is rather amazing that Nintendo never took steps to nip it in the bud, but not being careful with the mod would get your Nintendo account banned.


So has anyone here ever used Project M?

I remember posting about this a few years ago, I'm trying to figure out how Nintendo didn't put this down like old yeller.

I've played PM a few times. (A friend of mine is big into Project M and we'd played a few times.) I never owned SSBB but it was a pretty fun game.

Well it is sad but at the same time I am amazed they run it for so long. I mean damn, they could've get in huge trouble.
