When it comes to getting video games, would you prefer to rent such for a while or is it okay to pay for each one outrightly? I know there are pros and cons of each decision.

I can't remember the last time I rented a game, by now I know what I like and just outright buy it or buy it used for a cheaper price.
I prefer to buy my video games. Since my schedule is so crazy at work, I can't tell when I'm going to be able to have a day off or whatever to be able to have time to rent a game. So I buy the game and I can play it whenever I have the free time.
It's far more better to buy your games than renting them. If you even buy on disc, you can even resell them.
Just buy usually, unless you count the new PS+ games catalogue as renting for the month? I play a few titles on there.
PS+ is just better to get the free games than to rent.

Only if it's possible to resell online game's downloads... I'd be very rich now.
Well, it is not always about reselling the online games, but the risk involved in it.
I have had an experience once. The buyer still owes me $20 till date.
This is one of the downside of planning to buy games online. As a seller, you may not get your full money after sale.
I actually thought him a friend cos we had been friends online for a few years but I was clearly wrong about him.
That can be painful, but there is nothing much you can do in this kind of situation.
After the whole spat online dragging for the balance, he ended up unfriending me. I just laughed at him.
Wow! That's really poor of his attitude considering you trusted him to be able to sell the game to him before payment.
He's not just worth it. I have already given up on him and the money. It's a lost cause.

Renting a game is horrible to be frank.
