I'd give up fancy lighting, shading and all that stuff for more games with the creativity of DKCR.

When it comes out on 3DS I'm grabbing it. I'll see how creative it is first hand then. ^.^

It's definately the most creative Wii game I've played.

And SSBB isn't?

No. First of all it's not really creative because almost all content is taken from older games and second I don't like it because they ruined my favourite character Wario.

I thought that it was very good. While Wario was put in badly, I thought t was amazing!

For people who are fans of certain characters, when they are ill-portrayed that is all it takes for us to hate the game entirely. A good example is how the movie X-men Origins: Wolverine, despite being a decent watch, ruined Deadpool to the point a lot of people say it was a horrible movie just from that particular occurrence alone.

Yes it was a good game but the thing is, Smash Bros is all about fanservice and nostalgia, right? Well they didn't achieve that for Wario.
Nothing about him can make you feel nostalgic....well unless you REALLY loved Wario Ware.

I loved Subspace Emissary.

I haven't seen X-men yet because everyone said it screwed Deadpool....

Well Wario Ware is pretty amazing. So many fun times with that creepy doctor in Mona's minigame. *Shudders* Really though, I don't like any other Wario games besides Wario Ware so it was pretty nostalgic for me. Even though I don't like Wario that much.

Sure but why did they completely ignore the existance of the Wario Lands? They are just as good as...say, the old Donkey Kong Countries for example. Not even a single song was used.
And you can't tell me they weren't popular.

Xenoblade Chronicles? It is not part of the Xenosaga / Gears series but it is made by the same guy so the name was created by his staff to honor him.

"one of the last games made for the wii" lol That game comes out in 4 days for us. It isn't out yet in America but everywhere else has had it by a year or two.

What about the World Ends With You?

or The Last Story? Where those games good?

The funny thing is I don't like Wario Land. Just like how I don't like DKC... I played Wario... something for the Gamecube. It was cool for like the first two worlds, but then I lost interest in it.

The World Ends with you is Square Enix and from what I heard it was the best game on the 3DS. I haven't got to play it and it is still rather pricey for me to want to pick up used.

Wario World. I need to grab another copy of that, actually.

If it's not your thing, fine. But they were definately succesful and have a lot of fans. I mean the first Wario Land got a total of 5 sequels and they generally got pretty good reviews. But still no love for Wario. :(

*sigh* At this point I'm just repeating myself. Let's hope they do better in Smash Bros. 4

If it makes you feel better, I like Wario more than Waluigi. At least Wario has meaning and a backstory.

xD lol "I like Wario more than Waluigi" That's like saying I like a foot massage more than a kick in the balls. xD

There's a lot of people who like Waluigi. I'm just saying though. I don't hate Wario, it's just he's not my favorite by any means.
