So who drew their own fan levels as a kid?

I'm not talking fan games here, just drawings. Did anyone else draw their own ideas for game levels on paper as a child? Do you still have any of them to share?

YES I DID!

SUPER MARIO LEVELS!

9 worlds with over 60 levels!

I shall post some of them later.

Right now I'm transferring them into making them come to life by making them into real levels with the SMBX level creator! :3

Yes and no. I usually drew World 1-1. With some twists.

I did draw one before I beat the game about a fantasized last level. With like 8 Bowers. 7 fake 1 real.

I believe I did. Although any evidence is long gone. And when I say long gone, the paper I used to draw one of my imaginary levels, is probably I dunno, that plastic cup you drank out of the other day.

I drew enemies but not levels,it would be awesome to have the reggie level editor thing though.

I think I drew objects from levels, cut them out, and then arranged them on a flat surface. Then I drew a choppy Mario, and drew all the power ups too. It was kinda neat having all my little things in paper form, heh. I think I also remember drawing Mario Kart tracks.

Real-life Paper Mario?

I'm afraid I didn't. Instead, I formulate characters using characters from video games in my head, note a few special abilities, and try to formulate a fan fiction once I have a few for a particular game or a particular idea.

I still have a few ideas for games I'd like to see but have little chance of occurring.

that would be awesome if someone did that withpaper mario.

Technically, I designed levels for a fan game I collaborated with someone on, but other than that, no, I never really did.

I don't think I ever really did this.

I do recall pretending I was video game characters/Batman/Ghostbusters when playing outside though. I have a large plot of woods behind my house so my brother, friends, and I created our own world for our characters to play in, including creating forts and related things.

I'm guilty of doing this too, heh. But what can I say, it was fun imagining.

Oh definitely. I used to draw entire cities and villages and things like that. GTA 3 inspired me a lot thanks to it's open 3D world and lively areas. GTA is a series that always had a lot to offer me. But I drew SMW worlds and such. That's why I ended up hacking SMW roms and making my own levels, same goes for pokemon and SM64. Level design is what I want to do for a living.

On top of drawing, I used to love Legos and Lincoln logs. Used to always play with them and make huge cities with people and everything. The sheriff, the doctor, the scientist, the village people (not villagers, YMCA guys), and Darth Vader, of course.

I don't have many pictures of concepts I did when I was younger because they're most likely in a garbage pit somewhere but I do have one thing.
I was going to draw SMB level 1-1 by memory but it ended up turning into a unicorn of some sort trapped in a satanic doomed pit of hellfire. But if you dissect what SMB is about you'll see they're related.

I used to draw a rough sketch of the ultimate boss of super mario.....but I never got around to completing any of them.
I just give up way too easily.....ugh.

I drew some weird platformer game levels on my sketchpad where the main character is my finger. It's complete with items, booby traps, and enemies. Ahh, I wish I know how to code so I can make that childhood memory into a real game.
