They probably didn’t actually test the product like they claimed and just rushed it out the door. Or they cheaped out on the plastic they used on the screen, and though slapping a screen protector was gonna work, and didn’t test it in real world applications.
The fact that they didn't instruct people to not take that screen protector thing off is the worst thing. That's what happens when you only do the testing with people that know the product already
