If Mario gets a maker, why not Zelda? Keep in mind this is a fan made project and Nintendo is most likely typing up the cease and desist as I type this, so this maker will change names soon.
I've seen this project, and while it looks interesting enough... I'm not sure a Zelda Maker is really the kind of thing that will ever go beyond a fan game thing. The concept just seems a bit difficult for Nintendo to make intuitive, and the solutions I've seen online don't really work out when you think about it (one was a Zelda II maker, which was... questionable).
I think a sort of Four Swords esque level or dungeon editor seems slightly more likely, though not by much. At least it wouldn't require remaking a whole overworld and story.
Well. I wish them good luck. I hope they manage to tweak it enough to make it their own thing before Nintendo catches wind of it and sends the take down notice.
I agree that I don't think Nintendo will ever make an official Zelda Maker, even if they did I think it would be half-effort, just to shut us up.
