The Robotic Invasion

I am posting because every post in this thread has a rep+1.
Also, you promised me I'd be in this story.
I am not amused. Neither is shenanigan guy.
 
The trip back to earth was nice and smooth. No problems whatsoever. However, I continuously tried to talk to Dan about what happened, but he just continued to ignore me. It seemed hopeless. It’s like he wasn’t even Dan anymore. Ugh…… I miss the old Dan. This Dan is boring and not fun at all.

When we were back in the earth’s atmosphere near Nin3DS’s castle, we immediately were being shot at from an unknown source. I manually told the ship to dodge the incoming shots, but it was hard to avoid shots that were coming from the ground somewhere. I can’t believe it was going to end like this. I was so close to Nin3DS’s Castle! I was almost free! But no. I was being shot at by probably Wasabi’s forces. I had forgotten that he already took over most of the world. I was a fool to think I wouldn’t find any resistance on the planet. I was a fool to regain hope.

The ship tried its best to avoid the bullets. It made sharp turns, sudden speed changes, and tons of barrel rolls. It was putting up a good fight against the unknown force shooting us. However, we still couldn’t avoid all shots fired and still got hit with a few here and there. And whenever we did get hit, the ship shook a bit and the lights flickered. I knew we had to get out of this quick. The ship wouldn’t be able to take more of this at this rate. Whoever was shooting at us, sure had skill. Unfortunately eventually the ship got hit enough that the engines started to fail. Then I heard the ship say.

“Warning. Engine failure. Immediate landing is necessary to prevent an immediate crash or other mechanical failure in the near future. Land?” The voice said.

I at least wanted to survive. So I said yes.

“Landing immediately. Scanning local earth for an appropriate landing zone. 10%. 33%. 65%. 89%, 100%. Land found. Immediately Landing.”

The ship then started going down. Bullets were still hitting the ship, making it a rough ladning. But we landed in one piece.

“Local Power sources out. Losing…….. Power……… Entering Slee…. “ The voice faded away along with the lights in the ship.

I looked out the window to see if anyone was coming. The area seemed clear.

“Dan. Come on let’s go. Before they come and find the ship.”

“Whatever, I don’t care.” He said in a mellow mood.

“DAN! SERIOUSLY! THIS IS SERIOUS! I KNOW THAT YOU CAN’T HELP BEING DEPRESSED BUT COME ON! PLEASE TRY!” I pleaded.

“Whatever, I don’t care.” Is all he said.

I sighed. This was hopeless.

Then I heard noise coming from outside. I looked out the window and saw a few tanks coming forward out through the trees, crushing them as they got in their way. I gulped.

Then I heard a voice coming from a speaker from one of the tanks.

“Now, follow these directions slowly or I will not hesitate to shoot. Anyone and everyone who is in the ship, come out with your hands behind your head. Now.”

They had us cornered. Game over. I looked down at the floor, disappointed in myself. I failed. The world is truly out of hope. Wasabi has won, and I know my fate. I’ll be dead by the end of the week. Wasabi won’t make the same mistake he made last time. He’ll make sure there’s no way of escape. He’ll kill me as soon as he laid his metallic hands on me. He is too powerful for me to face him at this state. I knew everything was over. I sighed.

“Dan, it’s over. We lost.” I said.

“Shame.” Was all he said.

I looked at his uncaring face. It made me sick what they did to him and all the other Shy Guys.

“Come Out Now!” The voice from outside said.

“Come on Dan, let’s go.” I said in a mellow tone just like Dan said things.

I pressed the manual door opener button. The hatch started lowering down to let light more light and some fresh air in.

I put my hands behind my head, and Dan did the same. We started walking out of the ship.

I saw about 20 tanks lined up around the ship. I knew a fight would be useless if we wanted one. So I decided to keep following his directions, for now.

“Good.” The voice said.

Then the tank in front of it started opening the top hatch.

Out came a human man. He was in an army general uniform with tons of badges, on his uniform. He was obviously high ranked up in the army he was in. If it was Wasabi’s Army, which it probably was, we’d be in big trouble.

He stood up, getting a better view of us.

He looked at me for a few seconds. Then he turned to Dan. He was a bit scary. I was afraid what they’d do to us. I was ready for a fight. However, I don’t think I’d make it.

Then I heard him say. “Nintendan? Is that you? We thought you were dead!”

I sighed. It was friendly forces. It makes sense now. They were shooting us down because we were en an enemy ship and we were going near Nin3DS’s castle. They weren’t hostile. We were free!

He seemed ominous, but I knew he was a good guy.

“Who are you?” I asked.

“Call me TheUltimateKoopa, or TUK. But enough about me, you and Nintendan are coming with me now.” He said.

We were escorted to the hide out. As I found out on the trip, Nin3DS’s castle was already overtaken by Wasabi’s forces and the resistance was now in underground tunnels. The tunnels were made long ago, and now they were being used by Nin and what was left of his army.

It was a bit of a mini-journey, we traveled for about an hour into a hidden location. It would lead to the underground tunnels.

We were going to be put in the “briefing Room” as TUK put in. In it he said that, he, Zexis, General Guy, Nin3DS, Nintendan, Yoshi and AkaenRievkelar. They were his military generals. Also Arcella would be there. Even though she doesn’t really work for Nin3DS, they’re still friends and he needs her air forces to help.

We were going to discuss what me and NIntendan saw in Wasabi’s Space Base and other things like that.

We waiting outside of the briefing until we were called in.

Nintendan and I entered the room. It was circular with tons of computers everywhere. It was hard to believe this was an underground back up base. In the center of the massive room I saw a round table, where everyone was sitting in. We sat in the empty seats. I looked around. It wasn’t a “big” table, but it was big so a good amount of people could sit in it, but small enough that people could hear each other. I saw people everywhere. I only recognized Yoshi, Arcella and Nin3DS. Even though I never met him, I sure knew how he looked liked. Everyone else I guess was the other people TUK was referring to. But then I noticed YM standing next to Arcella.

I shouted out a gleeful Hi.

Just then everyone looked at me in a ticked off way. I was being unprofessional. So I said sorry.

Then Nin3DS spoke.

“What’s your name?” He said.

“Um… it’s SuperMarioFan, but everyone just calls me SMF for short.” I said a bit nervously.

“SuperMarioFan eh? Well it’s great to meet a Shy Guy who has been hit with Wasabi’s Anti-Fun Ray.” He said.

“Yeah. But unfortunately we can’t say the same about Nintendan.” I said.

“He got captured and we hoped for the best, but were expecting the worse. But you somehow escaped Wasabi’s base all the way in space! I’m impressed.” Nin3DS said at me.

“Well yeah. I just barely got away. Listen, Wasabi said I’ve been frozen for 2 whole years! Is it true?” I said

Arcella then said. “Yes SMF, it is true, you’ve been frozen for 2 years by Wasabi. A lot has happened while you were away.”

“Like what?” I asked.

Nin3DS then said. “Well, it’s a long story. Wasabi started invading the planet 2 years ago. He started attacking the heavily Shy Guy Populated cites, like Shy Guy City. However, I sent my armies to fight back his. However, his robot army was stronger than my soldiers. And then it happened. I drafted more troops at my Castle and it was a huge turn out. Most of them were Shy Guys, which were rare at the time. Wasabi saw them as a threat and that’s why he was capturing them. However I knew my Shy Guy Army would have a chance against him. However, Wasabi fought through the sky blockade Arcella made to protect the Castle. And then he released a Bio Chemical Weapon upon my castle. It was a better version of the Anti-Fun Gun. However it was a gas that none of us were safe from. Most of the Shy Guys were affected and were now useless unfun depressed Shy Guys. We did however get them all out, but not before most of them were affected by the gas. Only a few were left unaffected like General Guy and a few others. Our only chance was gone, as well as my castle. We had to flee to these tunnels.”

“Wow. Well what do we do now?” I asked.

“Well.” Zexis said. “There is a base around 1,500 miles south of this base. It is a factory that Wasabi Implemented to make more of the Gas. We’re going to strike this afternoon. Our spies inform of rumors of a cure somewhere in there. If it is true, then it’s worth an attack on the base.” Zexis said.

Then AkaenRievkelar said. “We’re going to send my own and Zexis’ troops to try and take the base. If we do succeeded and do find a cure, then we’ll have our Shy Guy Troops again which will be enough to have a fighting chance against Wasabi and his troops.”

“So when are guys going?” I asked.

“Well.” Zexis said. “WE are going to attack in a few hours. Including you.”

“What?” I questioned.

Then Nin3DS said. “We need all the help we can get SMF. Arcella told me about what you can do and I’m impressed. We defiantly need you in the front lines.”

Aw great. Now I have to back in the war. And there's a risk to lose my funness!
 
Wait... SMF, if you're a shy guy... why ddn't I unfun you?
Also why was NintenDan in the General's room but also standing outside with you?
Just questions to help you focus a bit more so you don't make these really tiny mistakes that only I notice.

One small thing I've told you before that bugs me. Why do you leave the numbers in the usernames? I wouldn't exactly say "Hi, my name is NinthreeDS!" to anyone on the streets.

Other than that, pretty good.
 
FINALLY AN UPDATE!

The reason why there was a 2 week gap is because last week I didn't save the chapter and it was a huge unmodivator to rewrite it. But here it is! I have not forgotten about my story!

A bit of a short chapter, but a chapter nonetheless.

I was deployed immediately on Zexis’ squad. We were going to be on the front lines. I got a Shotgun, an assault rifle, a few grenades, and a helmet. We were going to go the site on small space ships deployed from a hidden loading dock out of the tunnels. They were meant to use to transport foods and other goods, but with the shortage of ships, we were forced to use them. I got my gear on and got on the ship. A few other guys got on it, but what really surprised me was one of them was a Shy Guy. There were no windows of the ship and the only way on the ship was through the back, unless you were the pilot you went through the front entrance. There were no seats, and about 10 other people in the ship. It was a little crowded. Then I heard the speakers from the outside go on and say something. It was Nin’s voice.

“Attention brave soldiers of my kingdom. You must take the base or all is lost. Do not just do this for me, but for all affected by Wasabi’s reign or terror. He’s killed women and children for no reason. He’s destroyed homes, crushed families, and now wants to wipe us all out. You must take the base to continue the hope that we have the one day, we will bring this monster down.”

I sighed.

I felt the ship start taking off the ground.

I sighed again.

I was scared on the trip to be honest. I might die today. But I had to fight so I could save the Shy Guy race and the entire world possibly. Wasabi had to be stopped.

I went up to the other Shy Guy.

“So, what’s up?” I said.

“Nothing much. I’m ready to die though, but I’m ready to embrace it when it comes.” He said.

“Kind of negative don’t you think?” I said.

“Yea, I guess so. But what I said is true.” He said.

“Come on, be positive. Oh wait. You’ve been hit with the anti fun ray or breathed the gas didn’t you?” I questioned.

“Not really. First of all they don’t let the depressed Shy Guy’s in the army. Second, It’s just I’m like this all the time.” He said.

“Oh. Well what’s your name.” I asked.

“I can’t tell you, so just call me PHI.” He said.

“Well it’s nice to meet another Shy Guy.” I said.

“Well nice to meet you too, erm… What’s your name?” He said.

“SuperMarioFan.” I said. “But everyone calls me SMF for short.”

“Well anyway, as I said before, I’m ready to die at the assault on the base.” PHI said.

“Come on, don’t be so negative dude.” I said, patting his back.

“Do the Math SMF. We’re on the front lines attacking a base against robots. Of course we’re going to die first.” He said.

I was seeing starting to see his point. The odds of us surviving were a bit low. I still maintained a bit of hope, but chills went throughout my body as we continued to go to the base.

There were no windows so we couldn’t see where we were. This was just adding more suspense to the trip.

I started thinking happy thoughts to get my mind out of death related things. I thought about my home. It was a nice thought. I thought about finishing my movie, sitting on my couch enjoying my plasma screen TV. Everything was nice and normal.

But then reality hit again. The Ship started shaking more erratically. Then BOOM! It didn’t take smarts to know our ship got hit. I could feel the Ship falling down to the ground, spinning us inside it.

Suddenly the hatch opened while the ship was still plummeting. This was bad. Everyone started flying out of the ship and falling down to their deaths below. But I hung on for life. I looked over and PHI was doing the same. We were determined to survive. I looked down and saw the ship was going to crash right into the base. Crackers!

It was hard to hold on, but I some how kept managing to hold. I heard shots being fired from outside. The battle had started and we were the first casualties.

The ship was nearing the base and I knew we were going to crash right now.

I braced for impact.

CRASH.
