I still remember being blown away by N64 games. Now a new console comes out and it's almost the same thing but longer loading times.

I agree I'm glad I was able to experience going from 16-bit games to 32 bit and beyond that! It was so cool playing my Genesis and then getting a PS1 and being blown away by the 3D graphics.

I remember being very impressed with Playstation 1 games like Final Fantasy 8 and Metal Gear Solid where I mostly played 2D games on PC and Nintendo.

While I miss those classics. I think remastered versions with next-gen graphics would be awesome, and better than the originals.

It's because people care more about the graphics today than they did back in the day. Like if it's not PC quality, the game is shit more or less. We were spoiled when Mario went from 2D to 3D.

This! I'm more interested in what games are going to come out for the next console. What good are graphics if I'm not going to get the console anyway. If there aren't enough games to keep me entertained then what good would graphics do?
