nope you have a lot of enemies, stories, fishing spots, quests,side quests and banters while walking around on "open area" maps, and later you'll ride your motorcycle given by Alisa or ride horses on "open area" maps traversal.

Hold off and wait for Trails Of The Beginning to come west so that you can jump right to the fifth game after IV lol
