Make sure to play Cold Steel 1+2

But this game is based on the events of all the past games. But I am saying you can stick with Cold Steel games only if you want
 
It's fine to start from III though imo the way the story is presented plus with all the mini encyclopedia on past stories included in Cold Steel III.

So are you going to get Cold Steel IV come launch day @Empire ?

I am happy with the mod and the unlimited draw distance + high quality post process options of the PC version. Excellent PC Port.

You don't really need to if you destroy all enemies in the way and collect all treasures.
