Desperados III announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The first 2 were great backthen and the new one is from the makers of Shadow Tactics, so should be good.Publisher THQ Nordic was due to make the official announcement at the Gamescom 2018 opening ceremony on August 21, but the trailer was posted to YouTube early.
While the trailer was quickly removed, Russian website Igromania managed to download and rehost it.

The Wild West. A place where the law is made by those with a gun in their hands, and is enforced by the henchmen at their command. A place where death is no stranger and the undertakers are working overtime… especially when people start playing Desperados III. This real-time tactics game, developed by German game studio Mimimi Games (Shadow Tactics: Blades Of The Shogun), lets players command a band of Desperados led by fan-favourite gunslinger John Cooper.
 
Finally some update on the Font Mission based game, Left Alive:

Left Alive Is Well And Alive With New Screenshots And Details From Gamescom 2018



It’s been a while since we heard from Square Enix about Left Alive, the survival action successor of Front Mission, but we now have some new screenshots and details from Gamescom 2018.

Here are some highlights from DualShockers’ impressions on the gameplay they saw at Gamescom 2018 alongside director Toshifumi Nabeshima and producer Shinji Hashimoto:
  • There will be plenty of sections where the one of the three protagonists will get to ride on the Wanzer mechas that we’ve seen in Front Mission that you steal from the armored forces that invade the city.
  • Players will often get to choose whether they want to face soldiers guarding the Wanzer or take another approach on foot.
  • Combat on foot is very tactical due to limited resources that require you to play smart with traps, improvised weapons, and crafting in order to fight against enemies that often have a lot more to work with.
  • Player choices play a big role in Left Alive, as part of it revolves around rescuing civilians that are trapped in the city.
  • The civilians have their own motives and back stories, and it’ll often take some convincing to get them to follow you.
  • You can also ditch them if you can’t convince them or if you simply don’t care to save them.
  • In addition to the stories of the three protagonists, at the end of the games you’ll also learn about the civilians you rescue, as your choices and actions alter the story outcome.





Left Alive is in development for PlayStation 4 and PC.

Lol, calm down Mr Demon, remember a commander must always remain calm on the battlefield lest we lose the war! Especially with VC4 just right around the corner!
