Is anyone else as surprised as I am that Lucario made it into SSB4? I was thinking for sure they would replace him with a newer or more liked character.
 
Yeah I'm surprised as well, I was hoping a mega evolution Mewtwo both X and Y or just Mewtwo again. I think I remember Cipher Vista making a topic like this a little while ago :p or at least someone made it already ^^ I do hope jigglypuff gets in SSB4! I would definitely buy it just for Jigglypuff :p
 
Really though there were much better choices. Mewtwo with it's awesome megas, or even Charizard by himself without the Pokemon Trainer. It may just be where I didn't really like Lucario, but I don't think he is the best choice.

On a side note if they do bring back Charizard I hope they give him a better moveset. I don't really know what I would choose myself though.
 
Hey who knows, maybe Lucario will have its mega evolution! I'd really hope if megas were introduced in SSB4, another good fighter would be Blaziken and its mega evolution. :)
 
I never even thought of blaziken as a fighter, but that would be amazing!
 
I just want Mewtwo :(

With him, Mewtwo's chances are lowered.
 
Kinda sucks, wish Mewtwo was in but they focused on Lucario directly in Pokemon X/Y so this isn't too surprising.

Also guys, don't forget about this game. We might actually get to fight with all the Pokemon we want!

Yeah they missed the perfect opportunity use the Mega Evolutions as a Final Smash, but w/e I guess.

I'm surprised for sure. Mewtwo deserved to be in way more than him.


Even Blaziken considering he was a special event based mega evolution.
 
For some reason it'd be cool to have Genesect in the new Smash Bros. I mean it can be a mixed fighter, it looks capable of slashing things and doings kicks, and even its recovery or up-B could make him turn into his other mode and fly safely. And if there would be a final smash, it could use one of its drives depending on what color is chosen. It'd be pretty awesome if there was another Pokemon trainer but with the new gen starters!

It was shown at the end of a retrospective trailer in Japan back in August. I don't think any new info has come out since

I doubt that's the name of it only because the name Pokken is really close to another fighting game called Tekken. It's probably only a fan name. It does look cool though.
 
It's in nintendo's pokemon trademarks and Pok (Pokemon) and Ken (japanese for something like tough, or fist.)
 
It's not official yet Thexx. . . It was just a name for it, I've also heard another name which I don't remember but one was definitely Pokken Fighters. We still don't even know what this is yet! Though it's very cool, besides you're kinda late now :P Seems like we all knew :O
 
Yeah, I know but from what DYL said it seemed like he was saying it kinda ripped off tekken, so I clarified.

Oh. Well sudden HadouKEN and that other one that ends in ken suddenly makes a whole lot more sense.
