Would tablet's popularity be longer than smartphone?

I think there is chance that tablets would be popular slightly longer than smartphones since tablets come in many screen sizes, and are better for doing different task which need a very large screen. The Nintendo Switch is basically a gaming tablet, and the Switch is probably the most popular new touchscreen device of 2017.

Many Windows laptops these days are mainly touchscreen tablets with a removable keyboard accessory.

I think Zelda is making the Switch tablet very popular. A lot of people on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other big sites are talking about Zelda a lot. I bet, when Mario Kart, Pokemon, Mario, and other popular games like Final Fantasy get release for the Switch, a lot more people will get the Switch to play the games which they are a fan of.
