Xbox Going on for 15 years

So this past week Xbox console series turned 15 years old, congrats!

Anyone have any good experiences in the last 15 years with this console?

I have a lot of good memories and experiences from the Xbox over the last 15 years. I met a lot of gaming friends I have now on Xbox playing games such as Halo which I have a lot of memories from.

Is this a console you have never played DS? You may be surprised if you do ever pick one up my boyfriend was always a big Playstation fan and he got an Xbox 360 to game with me and then an Xbox One to continue to game with me and now he plays more Xbox than PS.

I was a little put off by the one at first but being a big Xbox fan I gave it a chance and now I love it. What put you off the One, Martin?

What Nikki says is true, she's a horrible influence. I actually want to pick up an original xbox so I can experience that as well. I have a few OG xbox games due to the 360 having some backwards compatibility with them. My older brother owned the original xbox. I remember he purchased it at launch. I was always wanting to give it a real try but never got the time to do so. I remember the original controller was massive and somewhat clunky and uncomfortable to use.

The first conference painted a very anti-consumer picture. I think that deterred most people. Yes, they have revoked pretty much everything from that conference before the console actually released but the damage was done for me. Now, I have had a taste of PlayStation exclusives and wouldn't go back.

Hard to say, if I get one it will either be for the Rare Replay or Xbox Live Perfect Dark remaster.

So do I! I think I bought the original Xbox the first week it came out.

My brother had the original xbox and got an xbox 360, the only xbox I've used is the xb1.

Had the Xbox 360 and it was amazing. Had so much fun with it especially playing games with friends. Nowadays barely anyone plays together on the PS4. Everyone's off playing their own games.

I feel like I leveled up as a gamer on the original xbox. I started playing and loving FPS games, I never played RPGs before Jade Empire (love that game) and Fable. Oh the sweet memories. Ninja Gaiden Black another gem I played and replayed for months.
