The former was requested recently and I feel it's only right to help the person who asked out.v I believe the problem is that it seems to add an extra / somewhere. Like index.php/user becomes index.php//user -- if there's something that has just index.php/ in it, try removing that / so it just has index.php. Also... serious question.
