The only reason people even deem it overrated is because it's the most popular one. The fact is THAT FF games is the one that brought the series to the attention to the mainstream gamer. Before that, just like any other jrpg, it was considered a niche game that only few people bought into. FF7...

Any of the games that stressed user generated content are the ones I never got bored of. 3D dot heroes, Little Big Planet, RPG maker, Figher maker, etc. Games like that keep my attention.

Jack Tretton was already talking about how phasing out used games would be bad for the industry. And considering there is no such thing as a "digital" used game, I seriously doubt the next Playstation will be online only

That's the sad part, That people are so blind that they'll simple see the number and feel it's old rather than look at the product itself.

The last show I'ved watched was Supernatural. And that says a lot because the season finale ended 2 months ago. Shows how little I watch T.V. doesn't it lol

I only use cheats after I've already beaten the game or I'm bored after beating the game. If you're truly a good gamer, you don't need cheats to beat a game.

They probably won't keep the normal numbers too much longer. They will however keep the "Playstation" branding. But after a while, the numbers might sound tedious.

The rumor is that Silicon Knights may die very soon. Nintendo is rumored to have canceled Eternal Darkness 2 and the company has lost their court battle with Epic. And now they've been forced to layoff an already reduced sized team...

Might be way too late for that though. That's probably too drastic a change at this point. It would have served them better to make it more like ff11 before. But now, the image is already in taters and making it more like ff11 won't be enough to help it anymore
