Look at Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic 06. These games are amazing in both story and gameplay, but the Sonic fanbase forces hate on them when they don't deserve it. Those games are terrible examples to make your point. They're such bad examples, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

I think Nintendo wants excuses to make GC games into HD remakes (like LoZ:WW) that way they can charge you a decent amount of money and breath new life into some old classic with the Wii U hardware. Then they should remake Mario Kart: Double Dash! Come to think of it, a Double Dash remake...
