Does anyone play The Sims Freeplay?

Repetitive is probably the word that comes to my mind. I think the lack of ´ excitement´ is more pronounced in Sims Free moreso than the other sim games. Maybe it has to do with balancing issues, who knows. I found it a very boring game with better options out there.

Is it too late to start a gaming channel?

The internet is mature for a lot topics, but I think what you need to consider is if you are doing it for money, or you are doing it because it is something you enjoy doing... even without money or subscribers. In other words, do you have passion? because without passion or a huge marketing...

    YouTube is deleting subs

I was under the impression that they were bot accounts also, they were inactive accounts anyway, so nobody was making money off of them. If you are a content provider on Youtube, you quickly learn that subscribers does not matter at all, what is more important are people who actually watch your...

Doing let's play videos of older games

I really don´t think the game matters at all, Probably the only people I have spent time watching have played horrible games ( on purpose). I think there could be a retro market, especially if you play older version of games that are about to receive an upgrade. For instance, Civilization is...

Where do you buy your PC games?

Gog or Steam, or sometimes direct from the publisher. It is just too convenient than going to a store. Box editions rarely even put a printed manual in the box anymore, so what is the point of buying a box when you can download it way faster than a drive to the store. As I got older, I also...

    Delayed games

I never really agreed with the implication of that quote. Yes, if you release a bad game, it is forever bad.. but just delaying a game rarely means the game is much better. Many times it just means they deleted some design that they had worked on for years, and replaced it with something they...

Will the Stick of Truth be released separately?

Ok, my bad. And yeah, I understand that many people would do the pre-order in good faith and all that, but many would also cancel the pre-order after getting the free game. I just did some research, and it appears what I said was wrong. Online pre-order can in fact pre-order the game online...

Do You Prefer Singleplayer, or Multiplayer?

Mixed, in the same game. I like MMORPGs where I am completely capable of doing almost anything with my character. I hate the idea of raids or dungeons as forced endgame.. so from an adventuring standpoint, I want more single player. But I enjoy the economy of having a ton of other people...

Is Steam too big to fail?

Another part of it is how much you think Indie games will influence the future. I am not going to overstate this as a huge issue, but getting your game on multiple platforms is not trivial, you have to put some effort into it, and almost everyone starts with Steam because it has the biggest...

Your most hated game of all time

Age of Conan. All games pre-release have devs that hype their game, overmarket their game, exaggerate features. On the other side there are a bunch of fairly big ticket games that launched broken. But the amount of deceit and outright lies in the months leading up to the release of AOC...

If You Could Only Play One Game/Series For The Rest Of Your Life

Elder Scrolls skyrim or Civilization series. Both series have been going a long time and don´t look like they will be ending soon and both games offer really unlimited replay-ability. I would almost say WOW, which I played since almost the day it started, but even with WOW I had to play other...

Game Movies?? Do you like them?

I have heard from most WOW fans that the Warcraft movie was pretty decent, and also most non-WOW players said the movie was decent as a stand-alone movie and the idea of ´nobody is good´ falls right in line with what got many excited about Game of Thrones on HBO. Tomb Raiders were decent...

Samsung predicts mobile gaming performance will surpass PS4 by 2020

Sorry if I didn´t say it correctly. You are right, all of those games have tremendous success with cash-shop models, and even in-game video ads can be profitable. But that wasn´t my point. My point is that those games have 10 million players, and cash-in on maybe 3% of players that actually...

Uninstalling Facebook on Android will save up to 20% of battery life

Many apps do this and don´t care, the same with PCs. They do all types of extra stuff to make their program appear faster and more responsive without a care of how much it affects your computers performance because the vast majority of people do not have the technical knowledge to understand it...

Samsung predicts mobile gaming performance will surpass PS4 by 2020

The problem is that most developers are not going to keep up. Yes, Samsung may be able to do it for their newest line of phones, but there are a ton of their older phones out there, and more so there are other manufactures. As a game developer, it is hard to justify developing a game that can...
