I did that in Crystal, I remember having the worst moveset ever with my level 100 Feraligatr, but I did take out Red's Snorlax with one use of cut.

I use the full brightness level without power saving , I don't use the charging cradle, and I will sometimes put the 3DS in sleep mode for spotpass to download new stuff.

My first shiny pokemon, excluding the red gyarados, was a shiny doduo at the safari zone in Sapphire. I almost ran away from it since I didn't see the shiny star animation, anyway I thought the doduo looked a little different so I caught it and it was shiny after all.

I will base it off mostly what you have already posted... Dragonite Gyarados/Poliwrath/Lapras Flareon Exeggutor Muk Zapdos/Mewtwo A pretty good team, though it may over use the flying type in particular situations.

Do you actually buy the near rip-off magikarp from the guy in the pokemon center at route 4/marvelous bridge? I have a few times, but never really evolve it at all, since it's quite hard to get a pokemon that only know tackle as an attacking move to get to level 20 early in the game.

I don't find Phantos scary, they're just annoying so I run for the locked door as quickly as I can.

Blue shells aren't that bad, only if your behind the leader that is. But I usually let the second place driver take the hit if I notice them in Mario Kart DS *notices someone has a blue shell, hits the brakes, second place driver flies ahead then gets hit by the Blue Shell.* Yay for Blue shells.

I say you should. I haven't played the 3DS version of OOT, but If it's even possible you could try a 3-heart challenge in master quest, though that would be probably be a one-hit kill mission for link.
