Other Final Fantasy VII Monopoly Board

Oh, wow, that's actually pretty cool! I'm going to have to grab this, it's pretty much the perfect gift for my partner. His favorite board game is Monopoly and one of his favorite video games is Final Fantasy VII. I personally can't stand playing Monopoly but this is a cool collector's item. I...

PSP Do you still use a PSP?

I lost the charger for mine but I was still using it a year ago. I was using it to replay Crash Bandicoot though I guess now I can just wait for the remake ;). The main reason I still need my PSP is for a severely underrated game that not enough people have played. Level-5 (Professor Layton...

Is it too late to start a gaming channel?

I don't think it's too late. I have a friend and an acquaintance who both set up their channels within the past year. Both have done well enough that they get free games and affiliate offers. I don't think it's good to go into it expecting to be successful right away but it's definitely possible...

    Pets!

What pets do you guys have? I'm an animal lover and have had a lot of different pets, everything from cats to poison dart frogs :). Right now I have a German Shorthaired Pointer mix named Morgan, four snakes, and two geckos. I'll avoid posting photos of the reptiles since I know some people have...

    PlayStation Crash Bandicoot Remaster

I hate that I'll buy it because of nostalgia...but I'll definitely buy it because of nostalgia :p. I have a lot of great memories playing the early Crash games. I did end up replaying it on the PSP but I'd be up for playing through again. I'm OK with them remaking the game, if only because...

Pokemon Sun and Moon - your wishes, ideas ?

We do already have secret bases but they're not too interesting. I'd definitely like to see the housing system expanded, it fits the community theme of the game really well. More co-op stuff would be cool. I'd like some kind of co-op mission where you partner up and do double battles together...

    Hi guys!

Thanks for the welcomes! It's actually been a few months since I've played, too, but I had played since launch. The game has some issues but the combat system is awesome. I would definitely recommend playing long enough to at least do some of the dungeons, they're really fun and challenging...

What's your opinion of this Steam Summer Sale?

It was a bit disappointing to see games on my wishlist at 20% off, knowing there's zero chance of the prices going down further. My main issue with the discovery queue is how random it is. I've never played a first person shooter on Steam (I literally can't play them, they give me motion...

    Steam Summer Sale Recommendations

I've actually already played and beaten Mark of the Ninja. For anyone else reading, I definitely second the recommendation. It was an excellent game :). I like stealth games that prevent you from just fighting your way out. That was always my main gripe with Assassin's Creed.

What's your opinion of this Steam Summer Sale?

The last couple of sales have been kind of lame. I think a major problem is that Steam now has to give out refunds. This prevents them from running flash sales because they're concerned that everyone who had already bought the game will ask for a refund. Unfortunately, the lack of flash sales...

    Steam Summer Sale Recommendations

I've been working seven days a week for a couple of months so I'm a little out of the loop. Does anyone have good recommendations for roguelikes or turn-based RPGs? I'd love to pick up a game or two but I'm not sure what's been released lately. As for my own recommendations, check out Stardew...

Pokemon Sun and Moon - your wishes, ideas ?

While I see your point, balance issues like you describe will pop up regardless of how the combat system works. Yes, some Pokemon are kinda useless competitively (though some of us play special tiers that allow us to use some of the "bad" Pokemon). But if you switched combat to incorporate more...

    Hi guys!

You can call me Red or Milo and I currently live in Nashville, TN (though I'm in the process of moving to Seattle this summer). I mostly play roguelikes but I enjoy turn-based games in general. I used to play Pokemon competitively and while I no longer compete (no time, sadly), I still love the...
